Mark transferred to Duke after completing his sophomore year at St. Olaf. Following graduation from Duke in '74 he served in the Peace Corps in Central America. He is currently President of Jorgenson Broadcast Brokerage.

He and his wife and daughter live on a horse farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. His son lives in nearby Charlotte.
