  Notes	Trones, Duane M. Age 84, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, while surrounded by his family on July 15, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Molly Trones, brother, Rudy Trones Jr. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Cordelia (Kilde) Trones; daughters, Mary Beth Carlson (Kent), Debra Trones Becker (Jack), Julie Trones; son John Trones; grandchildren, Kimberly, Jody, Lindsay, Noah and Leah; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Audrey, Avery, Bjorn and Kaylin; sister, Elaine McGuire. Duane graduated from Minnehaha Academy in 1944 and earned BA & BS degrees in Education and Electrical Engineering from Augsburg College and the University of Minnesota. As an award-winning Electrical Engineer with Honeywell for 47 years, Duane contributed to NASA space exploration projects including the Apollo Mission. Duane was a loving husband and father who lived his life with integrity, gentleness, humility and great compassion. He was married to Corky, a devoted wife for 63 years. Duane's faith was very important to him. He was a founding member of Oak Hill Lutheran Brethren Church serving as a trustee, elder and chairman of the congregation. He distributed Bibles as a Gideon and raised funds for World Vision. Duane often provided encouragement by sharing favorite Bible passages with family and friends. Duane greatly enjoyed spending time with his family at their Bay Lake cabin. He took pleasure in tending to the yard, working on the cabin, and providing pontoon rides for family and guests. Also among his favorite pastimes and memories were trips with his family, golfing, photo- graphy, "tinkering" with various tools, biking and taking walks with Corky. Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday, 7/24, Albin Chapel, 6855 Rowland Rd., Eden Prairie, MN. Funeral 11 AM Monday, 7/25, Oak Hill Church, 8901 France Ave S., Bloomington, MN.
