It’s also shown on Anne and Knud’s marriage record (“Tüfseie, Strande”). Immigrated with husband and two children 1852. Family was on steamship Atlantic when it sank in Lake Erie in 1852. According to Ø. Slidre B, Torgeir married Kirsti Andersdotter Rebne. Was this a second marriage? Anne’s marriage was listed in Øystre Slidre Kirkebok, 1849-1874. Vol 1, p. 171, located at Statsarkivet Hamar. She was listed as Anne Torgersdatter, 22 years of age, daughter of Torger Torgersen. Place of birth was illegible, but included Strande. (But see above.)
