From the Duluth News-Tribune: Marjorie E Anderson, 90, formerly of Duluth passed away peacefully in Sun City, Ariz., on Feb. 7, 2009 surrounded by family. Marj was a graduate of Central High School and St. Scholastica. She was a dedicated Duluth teacher who took great pride in helping her special education students learn the skills needed to live independently. She and husband John retired to Sun City in 1979 where they enjoyed the escape from winter and hosting the many visitors that came their way. We are thankful for every moment she was with us and we are joyful she is enjoying Gods promise of eternal life. Preceded in death by husband, John J. Survived by sons, Thomas, Michael (Kathy); and daughter, Leslie; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and friends. MEMORIAL SERVICE: to be held this July at Park Hill Cemetery.
