  Notes	Pronounced with emphasis on the second syllable. Referred to as Tabetha Edland on Luthard’s death certificate. In the 1900 census, she was shown as having had 7 children, 6 still living. Shown as Tabitha in that census. She emigrated in 1875. Still shown as 7 children, 6 living in the 1910 census. “Mrs. Tabetha Bergh” on her death certificate. A Tabite Nikolaisen was born 26 Jan 1854 in Gjestal, Rogaland, according to FamilySearch. The parish record for Gjesdal in Lye shows that she was Tabithe, daughter of Nicolai Davidsen Edland and Caroline Svendsdatter Edland. Hermund confirms that Tabitha was born in Gjesdal. The exact location of the original Edland farm is on a protuberance of land on the west end of the Edlandsvatnet lake, just south of the city of Ålgård. Tabitha’s father Nicolai and brother Christian Edland sold their farms in Gjesdal and moved to Mosterøy on 14 April 1861 where she was raised. She was confirmed as Tabitta Nicolaisdatter Edland-Vold. She emigrated from Rennesøy on 20 April 1875 as Tabette Edland.
