On his draft registration he was married with a child and was a general clerk for Standard Oil Co. in La Crosse. He lived at 1631 Winnebago in La Crosse. He was of medium height and build with blue eyes and brown hair. He had a disabled right leg due to infantile paralysis.
In the 1920 census, he and his wife and son lived at 1631 Winnebago Street in La Crosse, in a house owned by Henry and Marie Mack, the family Nellie was living with in the 1905 state census. Omer was a clerk for an oil company.
In the 1930 census, Omer owns the house (still at 1631 Winnebago) and Henry and Mary are the renters. Omer is now an auditor at the oil company.
