Her obit said she was a woman of uncommon independence and talent who “did it her way!”
She was educated at St. Helena’s, Holy Angels Academy, and the University of Minnesota.
She worked at several jobs, including summers at Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks. She traveled Europe on her own for a year driving the infamous Deuxchevoux minicar. Then she entered the “travel planning field” with Northwest Airlines, International Milling, and Litton Industries. She then became an independent designer for over 30 years.
Especially close to her niece Theresa Smith and Theresa’s three daughters.
