  Notes	Lynda Underdahl, age 87 of Dennison, passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday afternoon, December 20, 2023. Lynda Mae (Myran) Underdahl was born December 3, 1936, on the family farm in rural Wanamingo, Minnesota, to Melvin and Rachel (Hoseth) Myran. She was raised on the farm, attended country school, and graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1954. On January 8, 1955, Lynda married Peder Gerhard Underdahl at Lands Lutheran Church in rural Zumbrota. After marriage they made their home on the Underdahl family farm in Warsaw Township, Goodhue County, a farm that has been in the Underdahl family since 1856. Lynda worked with Peder on the farm as they raised their family. In 1964, she began working outside the home at Sheldahl in Northfield. In 1966, she began working at 3M in Dundas and remained there until 1983. Peder died on March 14, 2002. Following Peder’s death Lynda remained on the farm, caring for the yard and garden. Lynda was a longtime member of Vang Lutheran Church where she was active with the Lutefisk Dinner. She enjoyed being outdoors, reading, watching Jeopardy, and following sports teams. She was private, feisty - yet quiet and was an excellent baker and cook. She was loved and will be missed. Survivors include her children Dale (Lynette) of Cumberland, WI, Patsy (Bob) Sumpter of Eden Prairie, Julie (Steve) Barnes of Chaska, David of Nerstrand, Thomas (Anna) of Edina;10 grandchildren Josh (Liz), Ashley (Eric), Casey (Jade), Jessica, Sara, Matt (Jenny), Kristen (Nick), Aidan, Seamus and Padraig; 6 great-grandchildren; her sister, Colleen (Ray) Hegseth of Wanamingo; her brother Howard Myran of Wanamingo; her sister-in-law Yvonne Myran of Zumbrota; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Peder, her sister Beverly Bakken, her brother Richard Myran, and her parents.
