  Notes	Both of his parents were born in Maine. In the 1880 census, the couple, childless, lives in Stillwater. Freeman is a policeman. In the 1910 census, his occupation is adjutant, soldiers home. His death record shows that his occupation was city clerk. His obit says that he had been adjutant general of the Minnesota Soldiers Home fro 12 years. He dropped dead as he was crossing the bridge spanning Minnehaha Creek.
