  Notes	Alfonso Fautch registered for the draft on June 5, 1917, in Woodland, Wright County. He was a single farmer, employed by his father in Woodland, Minnesota. His home address was Montrose, Minnesota although he was born in Waverly, Minnesota. He was described as tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and brown hair. In the 1920 census, as 24 year-old Alfonses Fautch, he was single and living with his sister’s family in Enderlin, North Dakota. He was employed as a warehouseman for the railroad. In the 1940 census, he is living in company housing at a dam construction site in Mason City, Okanogan County, Washington. He is an electrical helper. He registered for the World War II draft in 1942. At that time, he lived in the Breslin Apartments in Spokane, Washington. He was employed by the aluminum company in Mead, Washington. He gave as the “person who will always know your address” F. J. De Pender of Spokane, Washington. His obit said that he was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Lodge No. 228 of the BPOE (Elks).
