  Notes	Her obit on Find A Grave, from the Benson County Farmers Press, Feb. 2, 2005, page 12: The funeral for Addoris Toso, 96, of Maddock, formerly of Esmond, was at Trinity Lutheran Church in Esmond. Interment will be in the spring at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Esmond. She died Jan. 29, 2005 at the Maddock Memorial Home. The Nelson Funeral Home of Esmond was in charge of arrangements. Addoris E. Johnson was born Jan. 31, 1908 in Broe Township near Baker to Bernhard and Gina Baglien Johnson. She was reared there and attended the Baker School, graduating in 1925. She worked at home until her marriage to Ernest Toso Oct. 19, 1929. They farmed in Isabel Township near Esmond. They moved into Esmond in 1977 but continued to farm until retiring in 1983. He died April 14, 1985. In 2003 she moved to the Heartland Care Center in Devils Lake for a time until entering the Maddock Memorial Home. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Esmond. the Immanuel Lutheran WELCA and the Esmond Golden Age Club. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, canning and fashioning clothing. Survivors include three daughters, Elaine (Mrs. Rodney) Sundby of Rothsay, Minn., LaVern (Mrs. James) Leier of Devils Lake and Janice (Mrs. Gene) Reierson of Esmond; two sons, Richard (Dorothy) Toso of Everett, Wash. and Gary Toso of Mancos, Colo.; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Florence Johnson of Maddock and Mildred "Pat" Johnson of Sarasota, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter-in-law, Janice Toso; seven brothers, Norris, Roy, Clarence, Vernon, Gordon, Orville and Lorrain Johnson; and two sisters, Gladys Matheson and Lillian Toso.
