Notes:
He and his family lived in the Nordthosø farm in Jevnaker in the 1865 census. The family consisted of Jens Thorgersen “Smed Husmand med Jord” (blacksmith and tenant farmer with some land), b. 1820, his wife Ingeborg Andersdatter, b. 1816, and their five children: Gjertrud Jensdatter (“Hjelper Forældrene” - assists parents), b. 1840, Thorger Jensen (“Smed” - blacksmith), b. 1843, Anders Jensen, b. 1850, Iver Jensen, b. 1855, and Johan Jensen, b. 1857. Everyone except Ingeborg was born in Jevnaker. She was born in Gran.
Jens and Ingeborg were living in Marion Twp, Clayton County, Iowa (Strawberry Point post office) in the 1870 census. Living with them were Ever, 16, and John, 14, as well as Hans (age 22) and Julia (age 25) Anderson and their infant son Anders.

Presumably, Gertrude is Jens and Ingeborg’s daughter. Hans Anderson may be the Hans Andersen living on the nearby Brænna farm in the 1865 Norwegian census.
In the 1900 census he is an 82 year-old widower living with son Iver and family.
Jens married Ingeborg Andersdatter GRYMYR on 9 Jan 1841 in Gran, Hadeland, Oppland, Norway. Could not find him and his family in the 1880 census despite a person-by-person search of Norwegian Grove, Trondhjem, Prairie View, and Rothsay townships. There was an Anders Jensen or Jansen with wife Marie of the right age late in the Trondhjem pages but they had no children.
Anders and family lived on a farm that he owned, with a mortgage, in Trondhjem Twp, Otter Tail County, in the 1900 census. Anders had come to the U.S. in 1868. (That is also the immigration date shown in the 1910 census.)
A 60 year-old widower living with his son Anders in the 1910 census.

A history of Anders from his obit:
He came to the U.S. in 1867 and settled in Decorah, Iowa, for 2 years. He left in a covered wagon and “landed” in Trondhjeim Twp, Otter Tail County, in June, 1871, where he and his father each took 160 acre homesteads in Section 29. They lived in dugouts for three years until Anders built a “good-sized log house” on his place. His parents lived in that house until their deaths. Anders lived on the farm until 1914 when he moved to Pelican Rapids to live with his daughter, Mabel Fredrickson. Anders had been blind for three years when he died.
Anders married Johanna Marie Petersdatter MITBO on 9 Jul 1875 in South Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rothsay, Otter Tail County, Minnesota.
