He was born in Little Falls, Minnesota, on 3 May 1892. He was described as of medium height and build with blue eyes and light hair.

Ila enjoyed painting pictures and creating artwork, she enjoyed sewing and was known for making potholders.

    Ila is survived by her daughters, Judy (Melvin) Kreiman, Knoxville, TN; Janice (Richard) Koestner, Eagle Grove; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and her sister Donna Lynn, Lincoln, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willard, her son William, and her brothers, Oliver, Donald, Gilbert, Kenneth and Charles Anderson and her sisters, Dorothy McMurray and Viola Wyatt.

    Phyllis Faye Faith, 68, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Monday April 4, 2011 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home surrounded by her family and friends. Phyllis was born in Fort Dodge on August 2, 1942 to Gilbert and Viola (Weaver) Anderson. She grew up and attended school in Fort Dodge. She married Merle Faith on December 17, 1960 of which they just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. She worked for Globe Union and then with her husband Merle they started T & L Cleaning which they owned and operated for 25 years. They also wintered in Arizona for 20 years. She loved spending time with her family, giving advice to others, traveling and gardening. Phyllis is survived by her husband Merle; her children Tracy (Donna) Faith and Lisa (Todd) Matter; her grandchildren Emily (Zach) Mason; Gavin Faith and Austin and Dylan Matter; her siblings Ronald (Doris) Anderson; Wayne (Kay) Anderson and Keith (Jeannie) Anderson; sister-in-law Betty Anderson; brother-in-law Donnie Woodman; her best friends Vern and Mary Clay and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Viola; her sister Carolyn Woodman and her brother Gary Anderson.

    Carolyn Ann (Tootie) Anderson Woodman, age 70, of Fort Dodge, died Saturday, Dec. 25, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge after suffering a long illness.

    Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.

    Carolyn Ann Anderson was born to Gilbert and Viola Anderson of Fort Dodge. Carolyn's education was in Fort Dodge school system. On August 31, 1958, Carolyn married Donald Woodman of Fort Dodge. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. Tootie worked at Globe Union then cleaned houses for several people over the years.

    She is survived by her husband, Donald; two daughters, Carolyn Michaels and Marcy Lara, her husband Robert Lara passed away on August 28, 2010; two grandchildren, Aaron Woodman and Megan Woodman; five siblings, Ronald his wife Doris, Gary his wife Betty, Phyllis Faith her husband Merle, Wayne his wife Kay, and Keith his wife Jeannie. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and a son-in-law.

    Tootie was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew her.

    Kenneth Donald "Andy" Anderson passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving family on January 31st, 2017. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 8th 2017 at the Central Iowa Expo Administration Building, located off of exit 137 (Highway 17 exit) on Highway 30 in Boone, Iowa at 10:30am.

    Ken was born September 30th, 1949 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Graduated in 1968 and worked over 40 years in the Hospitality Industry for Ackerman Investments managing at both the Fort Dodge Starlite Village and the Ames Quality Inn & suites. In September of 2011 he retired, only to take another job as consultant for the Central Iowa Expo Site in Boone where he proudly worked with many wonderful people and organized Farm Progress Shows and various agricultural events.

    Ken had several hobbies and was always looking for his next adventure. He enjoyed spending his time as a pit master, barbecuing and creating recipes for his catering business, Andy's Barbecue LLC. He traveled the competition barbecue circuit for several years, and won many awards for his delicious creations. He was one of four certified Whole Hog Roaster's in the country, catering many events, including the Joni Ernst Roast and Ride. He was a creator and inventor of many things, including custom designed meat smokers for Andy's Drum Corp. LLC. Always a people person, he loved to be involved. He was past President of the Ames Convention and Visitor's Bureau, as well as a member of the Board of Governor's Chairmen's Circle Investment Club and a member of the Iowa Barbecue Society.

    Ken is survived by his loving wife, best friend and partner, Catherine, daughters Makenna Anderson (Mark Browning) of Newton, Julie (Ernie) Hiracheta and Jody (Pat) Canavan, all of Fort Dodge. His mother, Polly Moyer, Hibbing, MN. Siblings: Linda Ellinger, Steven Anderson, and Nancy Francis, sister-in-law Michelle (Bill) Dowd, brother-in-law Mike Rogers, and mother-and father-in-law Don and Dorothy Rogers. Many beautiful grandchildren, great grand children, nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father, Kenneth R. Anderson, his favorite uncle Donald, brother-in-law Jim Ellinger and grand-parents Ulric and Clara Volf. Ken would want to acknowledge the love he shared with his dear Pelon, Shawnita, and "Grandpa" of Boone. And of course, his partners in crime, Lucy, Lucas & Asher.

    Ken was a simple man who lived life to the fullest everyday and always found the best in everyone. He will be deeply missed. He believed that what goes around comes around, and as he always said, "Wherever you go, there you are."

A service honoring William's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 11:30 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. William is survived by his sons, Jeremy, Carroll; Max, Douglas and Wolfgang, all of Fort Dodge; one grandson Austin; his mother Ila Dillingham, Fort Dodge; and two sisters, Judy Kreiman, Lakeville, Minn.; and Janice Koestner, Eagle Grove. He was preceded in death by his father Willard. William Charles Dillingham, the son of Willard E. and Ila (Anderson) Dillingham, was born January 28, 1955, in Fort Dodge. He attended Fort Dodge schools and went to community college where he learned about mechanics, welding, carpentry and electrical wiring. He worked at U.S. Gypsum for 25 years and also at Central States for eight years. He was a hard worker. He loved his family and friends and was a very generous person.
