Middle name is supplied by the 1884-1894 Clerical Survey of Hova, Skaraborg, Sweden. The name is, however, difficult to read. The name in her birth record in the Födelsebok for Hova is Astrid Alfrida.
In the 1905 state census, she is living at home with her mother. She is a domestic.
She is a servant in the household of Charles Weyerhaeueser in Little Falls in 1910 and 1920. At this time, Charles managed the Pine Tree Lumber Company in Little Falls.

An Esther Anderson with the right birth date died in Sioux City, Iowa, in October of 1981. Given that Ethel lived in Sioux City, that Esther is probably the right one.
