In the 1930 census, B. Bernadine and her husband Arthur C are roomers with a family in Bird Island Village, Renville County, Minnesota. They have no children. Arthur is the manager of a general store, his wife is a saleslady at that store. Arthur’s father, Fred, is apparently the owner of the store.

In the 1940 census, Bernadine and Arthur live in the village of Buffalo Lake in a rented residence. Five years earlier, the couple had lived in Bird Island. Arthur is a merchant in a retail general merchandise store. Bernadine is clerk in that store. Arthur was a high school graduate. Bernadine had had two years of college.

Beulah married Arthur Charles EISELEIN on 1 Sep 1926 in Renville County, Minnesota. Arthur (son of Frederick Charles EISELEIN and Anna HAMANN) was born on 11 Oct 1903 in Buffalo Lake, Renville County, Minnesota; died on 30 Jul 1959 in Renville County, Minnesota. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

In the 1940 census, he and his wife Madline (the informant) lived at 610 5th Avenue North West in Minot, a rented residence. Quentin was a high school graduate, Madline had three years of high school. Quentin was a machinery salesman. He made $1200 in 1939.

In the 1940-41 Minot city directory, he and his wife Manda lived at 610 5th Av NW. He was a salesman.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army on 16 Feb 1943 at Fort Snelling. He had had 4 years of high school, was married, and was employed in the category of “semiskilled chauffeurs and drivers, bus, taxi, truck, and tractor.” He resided in Ward County, North Dakota.

In the 1957 and 1959 Minot directories, he and Amanda life at 212 8th Avenue SE. He is a dispatcher for Ace Cab Co.

In the 1960 Minot directory, he and Amanda are still at 212 8th Avenue SE but Quentin is now a warehouseman for Dakota Beverage.
