    Marietta Hanak, 79, of Richland, Nebraska, died Thursday, February 28, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

    The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4, at 10:30 AM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home with Rev.'s Patrick Sparling and Kurt Ebert officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and continue on Monday from 9:30 AM until service time all at the funeral home. Memorials are to be directed to those of the donor's choice.

    Marietta Hanak was born October 13, 1933, in Richland, Nebraska, to Perry and Ida (Rumery) Loveless. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Marietta went to school in Richland and graduated from Kramer High School in Columbus.

    On July 10, 1951, Marietta was united in marriage to Adolph Hanak at the St. Bonaventure Rectory.

    Over the years, Marietta worked at Woolworths, Ole & Vi Grocery Store, District #9 School, sold Avon, cleaned homes, and helped out at Worrell Sales. She enjoyed decorating cakes and updating photo albums. She raised a family of many. Marietta was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and homemaker.
