    In the 1900 census, she was Ingeborg Trontson, age 74, mistakenly shown as being born in December of 1825. She is living with her son, Thomas Trontson, age 35, born in Wisconsin, and his family in the town of Amherst, Portage County, Wisconsin.

    In that census, she had had 4 children, of which 3 were still living.

    It wouldn’t seem that she could have had a son Thomas, born in Wisconsin in 1865 or so if she was still in Norway for the 1865 census with, apparently, all of her children, none of whom was Thomas.

    Baptized at the Høre church on that same day, October 30, 1881, was another Ole, presumably a cousin, who had been born 7 Sep 1881. His parents were John Tostensen Weflen (b. 1837) and Berit Ellendsdatter (b. 4 Aug 1840). Baptismal sponsors for that Ole were the married woman Berit Johannesdatter Garstad, the unmarried woman Anne Ivarsdatter Kjøs, the married gbr Iver Tostensen Kjøs, the unmarried farmer Tosten Tostensen Kjøs, and the married farmer Jøger Olsen Weflen.
