Notes:

In the 1940 census, he and Myrtle and Muriel lived with Carl P Neseth, a 60 year-old widower, in Kenyon. Thosten was the proprietor of a John Deere farm equipment dealership. Myrtle was Neseth’s housekeeper.

He died at Minneapolis General Hospital from injuries he received in a December 28, 1962, auto accident. He had been in the hospital since that time. He had been struck by a car, driven by Howard L Heath, at 22nd and Washington Avenues N. Heath was charged with careless driving and drunk driving.

Thosten married Myrtle Josephine DALBOTTEN on 30 Sep 1937 in Goodhue County, Minnesota. Myrtle (daughter of Simon Helmer DALBOTTEN and Betsy Maria KASA) was born on 19 Aug 1913 in Goodhue County, Minnesota; died on 14 Apr 1998 in Rice County, Minnesota; was buried in Vang Lutheran Church Cemetery, Dennison, Goodhue County, Minnesota.
