In the 1907 Milwaukee city directory, he is Andrew Ellingboe, machinist, living at 3011 Mt Vernon Ave.

In the 1910 census, he is Andrew Ellingboe, 32, living with his wife Susan, 22, her brother William Brauer, 18, and her brother Joseph, 10, in Milwaukee. Andrew and Susan have been married for 2 years and have no children. Susan, William, and Joseph were born in Wisconsin, their father was born in Wisconsin, and their mother was born in Germany. Andrew is a machinist for the railroad, William and Joseph work in the lithograph industry.

Registered for the draft in September of 1918. At that time, he and his wife were living at 491 39th Street in Milwaukee. He was a machinist for the C. M. and St. Paul Railway in Milwaukee. He was tall, medium build, grey eyes and light hair.

In the 1926 Milwaukee city directory, he is a mechanic. He and Susan live at 414 25th.

In the 1930 census he and Susan and their daughter Florence live in Milwaukee at 414 25th. Andrew is an electrical inspector for the railroad.
