    Funeral services for Andrew Rudy of Forest township will be held at the Bierman Mortuary in Northfield at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon, June 16, and at 3:00 o'clock at the Trondjem church. Interment will be made in the cemetery there. Mr. Rudy passed away on Thursday, June 12, at the age of 67 years having been born in Norway on September 6, 1873. Coming to the United States while quite young, Mr. Rudy had lived in Webster and Forest townships for many years where he was engaged in farming. His wife had preceded him in death. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Demann (Florence) of the Dundas community and a brother and two sisters, Knute Rudy of Northfield, route 3, and Mrs. Mary Camp of Northfield and Mrs. Anna Clark of Everett, Wash.

    Funeral services for Knute G. Rudy, well known Forest township farmer, who passed away late Friday, July 27, at the Northfield Hospital, were held Monday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church, with the Rev. B. A. Benson officiating. Sever and Gilbert Dalby, Oscar Nelson, Clarence Camp, Gus Lockrem and Peter Paulson were pallbearers. Interment was in Northfield Cemetery. Mrs. Olaf Skramstad sang "I Know of A Sleep in Jesus' Name," and "Abide With Me," accompanied by Professor Carl Abrahamson at the services. Relatives and a large number of friends attended the service. Mr. Rudy had been a patient sufferer with arthritis for 12 years. He was born in Valders, Norway, April 3, 1875, to Ingeborg and Gullick Rudy and came to the United States when he was two years old. He had lived in Forest township most of his life. He was married to Miss Boletta Dalby who survives him. One daughter, Mrs. Clement Fabre (Cora) of St. Paul, also survives. A nephew, Edwin Rudy, has lived with the family since babyhood. One sister, Mrs. Anna Clark of Washington state is living, while a sister, Mrs. Mary Camp, and two brothers, George and Andrew Rudy, have preceded him in death.

    Beulah L. Caron, 90, a resident of Cedarview Care Center, died Oct. 23, 2009.

    A Mass of Christian burial is set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Owatonna, with the Rev. Edward McGrath officiating. Friends may greet the family one hour before the time of services at the church on Tuesday. A parish rosary will be recited at 12:15 p.m. at the church on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Owatonna.

    Beulah Lorraine Caron was born in Northfield, Minn., on Nov. 25, 1918, the daughter of Clarence and Emma (Quinnell) Camp. Beulah grew up and attended school in the Northfield area. Beulah was united in marriage to Louis Caron on Sept. 27, 1938, in Northfield, and together they raised two sons, Gregory of Rochester and Craig of Overgaard, Ariz.

    Beulah worked for Jostens Inc. for 25 years, the first 15 as a corporate accountant in Owatonna and the last 10 years in division management out of the Minneapolis office. She moved back to Owatonna in 1985. After retiring, she enjoyed working with Wednesday morning religion classes at St. Mary's school, delivering Meals On Wheels for St. Joseph's Church and Woman's Club while her health permitted. She was an avid bridge player and loved to sew, especially for her granddaughter.

    Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law Mary Caron, and her sister Olive.

    She is survived by sons, Gregory Caron of Rochester and Craig Caron of Overgaard, Ariz.; beloved granddaughter Melissa and great-grandchildren, Riley and Brodie; sister, Ronna Schiltz of Coon Rapids, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.

    Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's School or the donor's choice.

    Arrangements are being completed with the Brick-Meger Funeral Home of Owatonna.
