    In the 1930 Denver city directory, he was still a violin teacher. His place of employment was 319 Barth Building. He lived at 2057 Glencoe. (Angus and Anna Lura lived at 5638 16th Ave.)

    (Angus and Roy were brothers. There was another brother, William, who was a prominent Madison, Wisconsin, physician. He left an estate of $130,000 when he died in August of 1964.)

    In the 1930 Denver city directory, he and Eleanor live at “318 215 E 19th Avenue.” He was a music teacher at “319 809 16th.”

    In the 1934 and 1935 Denver directories, he and Eleanor live at 2057 Glencoe. He is a violin teacher at “320 809 16th.”

    In the 1937 Denver city directory, he and Eleanor live at 24 1245 Logan. Roy is a teacher at the Denver Institute of Violin and Guitar.

    In the 1939 directory, he and Eleanore live at 19 1335 Grant. He was a musician with the Federal Music Project.

    In the 1940 census, he and Eleanore live at 1335 Grant in Denver in what seems to be a fairly large apartment building. He was a musician in a W.P.A. band.

    In the 1956 directory, he and Eleanor live at 1245 Logan, apartment 10. He was a music teacher on the 3rd floor of the NBC Building.

    Roy married Ellen THOMPSON on 14 Aug 1928 in Colorado. Ellen (daughter of Erik (Erick) Andrew THOMPSON and Gunhild Mikkelsdatter (Julia) DIGENE) was born on 12 Dec 1898 in Minnesota; died on 2 Oct 1976 in Wright County, Minnesota. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
