As reported in the Faribault Daily News:

Word has been received of the death of Ludvig Austinson, 57, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Childs at Sterling, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Austinson, who live in Montevideo, Minn., had gone to Illinois to visit their daughter. He died unexpectedly on Sunday. The funeral will be at Montevideo Wednesday, Sept. 23. Mr. Austinson conducted the Dennison Hardware Store for many years and at the time of his death was in the insurance business at Montevideo.
