    Mrs. Daisy May Watson, age 93, born in Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away Sunday evening, December 15, 2019, at The Little Hospice in Edina, MN. She was born December 17, 1925 and grew up in Grayson County, in the town of Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Reverend Albert Craddock and Dora Sego-Craddock. Daisy was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, John William Watson. John and Daisy were members of Southtown Baptist Church in Bloomington, MN and founding members of Crystal Lake Road Baptist Church in Burnsville, MN. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Daisy is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one sister. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

He was a retired shipping processor for Nebco Inc., a member of Mosaic United Methodist Church and a US Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. A.B. Craddock and Dora Sego; a brother, Arnold R. Craddock; and a sister, Geraldine Craddock-King. He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Probus; two daughters, Rita K. Mitchell and Rhonda F. Martin; his mother, Rosena Bryant-Craddock; a brother, Howard Craddock; two sisters, Daisy Watson and Doris Marsh; and grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Brandon and Michael. His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, 1-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or his church building fund.

    James “Howard” Craddock, age 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (October 27, 2013) at the home of his daughter in Caneyville, KY.

    He was born on July 2, 1936 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Rev. Albert Brown Craddock and Rosena Bryant Craddock.

    He was a retired supervisor for Bel Cheese, a member of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge and a member of the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church.

    Howard along with his wife Norma were long time actors in the Pine Knob Theater. He enjoyed his grandchildren, gardening, woodworking, baseball and all University of Louisville sports.

    He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Mike Boone, his grandchildren, Bryan Henderson (Aegina) of Clarkson and Gennifer Smith (Brad) of Caneyville, seven great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Daisy Watson of Minnesota and Doris Jean Marsh of Texas and many nieces and nephews.

    Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Williams Craddock, a great grandchild and two brothers and a sister.

    Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, (November 3, 2013) at the Broadway Missionary Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro. Johnny Long and Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Little Clifty Methodist Cemetery.

    Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and at Broadway Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
