    Lester Xavier Sha, 87, Denton, formerly Breckenridge, Minn., died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, in Denton Senior Care Center.

    Mr. Sha was born Feb. 10, 1917, in Fergus Falls, Minn. He moved with his parents to Valley City, N.D., where he grew up. In 1935, he moved to a farm near Foxhome, Minn. In 1941, he joined the U.S. Army and served during World War II. Following his military discharge, he moved to Breckenridge. On Aug. 21, 1946, he married Della Fuder. They lived in Breckenridge, where he worked for the Minnesota Department of Transportation. In 1973, they moved to Fergus Falls, where he continue to work for the MnDOT. He retired in 1979. In 1983, they moved back to Breckenridge. She died in 1985. In 1998, he moved to Denton.

    He is survived by two sons, Dennis (Linda), Denton, Wayne (Linda), The Colony, Texas; a brother, Tom, Rodeo, Calif.; a sister, Marian Ellingson, Fargo; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    Visitation: Today from 5 to 7 in Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home, Breckenridge.

    Funeral: Wednesday at 10 in the funeral home.

    Burial: Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Fergus Falls.

    Wayne Allen Sha, age 61, of The Colony, TX passed away on April 11, 2011 in The Colony surrounded by his family. He was born on November 26, 1949 in Breckenridge, MN to Lester and Della (Fudere) Sha.

    Wayne served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He married Linda Timmerman on June 11, 1977 in Rolla, ND. Wayne worked as a Production & Inventory Control Manager at Wil-Rich, Wahpeton, ND (1973-1986) and as a Planner/Scheduler and in Customer Service with International Paper, Carrollton, TX (1986-2011).

    He is survived by his wife, Linda Sha of The Colony, TX; daughters, Amy Kalb and husband, Jason of Little Elm, TX; Lindsey Gerber and husband, Paul of Carrollton, Tx; his grandson, Cooper Sha Kalb (to arrive in June); brothers, Dennis Sha and Wife, Linda of Denton, TX; nieces, Kristin Boyd of Carrollton, Tx; Kim Wissen of Austin, Texas; special aunt, Marian Ellingson of Fargo, ND and Linda's family who looked on Wayne as "one of their own."

    He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Della Sha and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

    Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, Carrollton, TX. Interment followed at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, TX.
