    In the 1930 census, Lucille and family were living in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. Lucille had taken in two roomers but, otherwise, she had no occupation.

    In the 1931 Tucson city directory, she is Mrs. Lucille Ellingboe, 1128 E Elm Street.

    In the 1936 Tucson city directory, she is Lucille P Ellingboe, student at the U of A, still living at 1128 E Elm.

    In the 1940 census, she and her children live at 1128 E Elm Street. She is a grade teacher in a public school. She had had four years of college and was a 42 year-old widow.

    In the 1941 and 1948 Tucson city directories, she is Mrs. Lucille P Ellingboe, a teacher at Ochoa School. She still lives at 1128 Elm.

    In the 1950 census, she and Mary lived in 1128 Elm in Tucson. She was an elementary school teacher.

    She retired from teaching in June of 1963 but then taught the first kindergarten class on the Papago Indian Reservation.

    Jessie married Arthur Gilbert ELLINGBOE in 1923.     She survived her son Jim who died in June of 2014. At that time she lived in Wenatchee, Washington.

    Local artist, Jane Reynolds, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home in Columbia Heights. Jane was born March 18, 1927 in Tucson, Arizona, to the late Arthur G. and Jessie “Lucille” (Preston) Ellingboe.

    Her father died when Jane was a toddler, and Lucille single-handedly raised Jane and her twin brother (Jules) and her sisters (Martha and Mary) while teaching elementary school.

    Jane attended university until Charlie Reynolds swept her off her feet; they married and moved to La Grande, Oregon where Charlie supported the family through a family-owned insurance business.
    Jane and Charlie raised their beautiful children in La Grande and were involved with many local charities, clubs and organizations. Charlie was a football referee and auxiliary policeman. Jane was an expert at Bridge Club.

    After a couple decades the family relocated to Yakima and Charlie went into teaching and counseling. Soon thereafter, they moved to Spokane to be close to Sally and for Charlie to complete his Masters degree at Gonzaga. They moved to Wenatchee in approximately 1988, where the two of them lived the remainder of their days.

    Jane was an artist all her life, working primarily in acrylics and watercolors. She specialized in Portraits and landscapes, and was the featured artist in numerous shows in galleries and shops around the Pacific Northwest. Jane’s work is featured in many local homes and businesses. She designed one of the annual Apple Blossom Festival posters, as well as many other commissioned projects.

    Jane and Charlie travelled around the world, visiting their son Kip in Paris, New York, San Francisco and (their favorite destination) Hawaii.

    Both Jane and Charlie volunteered with numerous local civic organizations, focused primarily on assistance for at-risk-youth. They were co-founders of this area’s AIDS Alliance, which has raised money for education, awareness, and research.

    Highlights of their decades together included meeting their precious grandchildren, enjoying Jane’s tremendous artistic talents, and spreading their special happiness among the dear friends.

    She is survived by children Sally (Dan) King of Seattle, Kip Reynolds of Buenas Aires; grandchildren Andy (Ryan) Robertson, Amy (Brian) Wells, Karen (Michael) Pidduck, all of Seattle. She was the Beloved “GiGi” to great-grandchildren Ellie, Jack, Cady, Fred, Rowan, Charlie and Will.
    She will be deeply missed.

    REINECKE, Mary Lois (Ellingboe), 66, of Tucson, died August 19, 1994. Mrs. Reinecke received her B.S. in Business Administration and Master in Education from the University of Arizona. She taught Business Education at Amphitheater High School for 19 years, and retired as Department Chairwoman. She also was a volunteer instructor in the Literacy Program Adult County Probation Department, and a regular Red Cross blood donor. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Delta Kappa Gamma and Nu Chapter. She is preceded in death by her husband Bruce Edwin Reinecke. She is survived by daughters, Cynthia (William) Harding of Gainesville, FL, and Wendy (Todd) Prynn of Phoenix; grandson, Tanner Andrew Prynn; sisters, Martha Stevenson of CA, Jane (Charles) Reynolds of WA; and brother, Jules (Melinda) of CA.

    James P. “Jim” Reynolds, 63, a 18 year Wenatchee Valley resident, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Central Washington Hospital.

    He was born on May 16, 1951 at La Grande, Oregon to Charles and Jane (Ellingboe) Reynolds. He was raised to the age of 14 in La Grande before the family moved to Yakima. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in Yakima with the class of 1969. He continued his education at Gonzaga University in Spokane and in 1971, he enrolled in the experimental “New School”, (a progressive school), for one year. He then took an eight year sabbatical from college, worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor and helped form the “Family House” in Spokane. He furthered his education, attending UNLV, University of Nevada Las Vegas where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1979. He went to work in the mental health field in Las Vegas until moving to Seattle in the mid 1980’s. Jimmy first worked as a Salesman at a furniture store until accepting a position as a Network Administrator at Boeing. Following the layoffs of the early 1990’s, he moved to Wenatchee in 1996 and went to work for the IBEW, (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) as a Electrician and Material Handler. He retired in 2013 and has continued to make his home in Wenatchee.

    He was active in Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous.

    Jimmy enjoyed playing all sports, especially golf. He also liked to go camping, hiking and being in the outdoors as well as his love for gardening.

    He is survived by his mother, Jane Reynolds, Wenatchee; his daughter, Erika Rene’ Reynolds, Everett, WA; one sister and brother-in-law, Sally & Daniel King, Seattle, WA; one brother, Kip Reynolds, Buenos Aires, Argentina; two grandchildren, Cadence Jayden Reynolds-Main, Seattle, WA and Justine Berringer, Everett, WA and his longtime personal companion, Elizabeth “Beth” DeMarco, Wenatchee. He was preceded in death by his father in 2005.
