1. | Josefina Laurina (Jose) LUNDBERG was born on 16 Dec 1881 in Cannon Falls, Goodhue County, Minnesota; died on 7 Jun 1964 in Preeceville, Saskatchewan, Canada. Other Events and Attributes:
- Baptism: 22 Dec 1881, Cannon Falls, Goodhue County, Minnesota
Notes:
Her birth, on December 16, 1881, in Cannon Falls, is recorded on line 24, p. 2, of the Goodhue County Birth Records. Her entry, as Josefina Laurina Lundberg, is two lines down from her cousin Alexander Fogelquist’s. Her parents are listed as Carl Gustaf and Brita Maria, both born in Sweden. Carl Gustaf is a farmer.
The church birth records erroneously suggest that Josefina Laurina was born on December 16, 1880, and was baptized December 22, 1880. Her birth and baptism record seems to be recorded out of order in the midst of children born and baptized in late 1881. No baptismal sponsors are listed in her entry.
She and her husband moved to Preeceville, Saskatchewan, which is 80 miles east of Naicam.
According to information supplied by Roy Carlson:
Ole and Josie and family moved to the Ketchen district in 1910. They shipped their machinery, household furniture, cattle, and horses by rail to Canora where it was unloaded and taken to their homestead. There were no buildings so they had to start from the beginning. They lived in this district for many years. They adopted Norman Myhran when he was four years old and he was with them until their death. In April, 1915, Eunice married Nels Nelson. They had 8 children. In 1921, Emma married Adolph Anderson. They had three children. They retired and moved to Preeceville. Ole Peterson died November 8, 1960, at the age of 86. Jose died June 7, 1964, at the age of 82.
According to Charley Lundberg’s obiturary, Josie and Ole and family were living in Nelson, B. C., at the the time Charley died as was Tillie and her husband. Charley may have been staying with one of the daughters at the time he died.
Josefina married Ole PETERSON on 2 Nov 1897 in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. Ole was born about 1873 in Norway; died on 8 Nov 1960. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

4. | Norman Myhran PETERSON (1.Josefina1) died in Unknown. Notes:
There were two Myhran families in the East Barton precinct in the 1900 census. Neither of them had a child named Norman so, unless Norman was renamed, it is likely that Norman was born after 1900.
The two families were:
1) Next door to Ole and Josie: Christian, 35, and Gurin, 28, with their children Tollef, 11 (Mar 1889), Gustav, 6 (Mar 1894), Paul, 4 (Feb 1896), and Bertha 5 months (Jan 1900). This family had come to the U. S. from Norway in 1897 although Christian had come a year earlier. Christian owned his farm, free of mortgage.
2) Next door to Carl and Maria Lundberg: Tollef, 41, and Birgit, 37, and their children Bergine, 7 (Apr 1893), Gustav, 5 (July 1894), Oscar, 4 (Feb 1896), and Albert, 2 (Mar 1898). Tollef had come to this country in 1884 and his wife in 1892. All of the children had been born in North Dakota. Tollef owned his farm free of mortgage.
In the 1910 census, both families were still farming in Pierce County, North Dakota and both had had more children.
