    Apparently he married Lois twice. There is also an entry in the California marriage index for a marriage to Lois J. Hatzfeld on 10 Jul 1963 in Alameda County. That marriage was announced in the July 12, 1963, edition of the Oakland Tribune. MOMS lists the bride’s name for the 1969 marriage as Lois Ellingboe.

    Survived his sister Ruth Ann who died in November of 2009.

    Ellingboe, Russell Sr. age 76, a proud Navy Veteran passed away peacefully on January 14, 2019. Preceded in death by wife Lois three siblings Ken, Sue and Ruth. Survived by brother Tom (Kathy) and sons Russell Jr. (Mindy) and Tim; three grandchildren Derek, Aron and Bailey Jo.

    Russell married Lois Josephine HATZFELD on 26 Aug 1969 in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Lois was born on 13 Aug 1945 in Pennsylvania; died on 5 Jul 2002 in Anoka County, Minnesota; was buried on 15 Jul 2002 in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.     Ruth Ann Ellingboe Anderson Stabler, a 24 year resident of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed from this world into her Heavenly home on November 9, 2009. She joins her father, mother, sister, brother, and a granddaughter. Ruth was a friend to all who knew her and she will be remembered with great fondness and love.

    Born September 11, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ruth lived a full life with family, friends and a deep love of the creative arts. When she was not creating art, she was dedicated to teaching others to fulfill their creative dreams.

    Ruth was a devoted wife to Stephen, her husband for 28 years; a loving mother to her children, Roxanne Stegmeier, Greer Sally, Jennifer Polsinelli, Jeffrey Anderson and their spouses; and beloved grandmother to 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Ruth is also survived by her brothers, Thomas and Russell Ellingboe.

    We will always treasure her place in our hearts and lives.
