In the 1920 census, his wife was Guri. She was 36 and born in Norway. Included in the household was Maria C. Together, Knute and Gura had a daughter Gladys, 1 month old.

The Odegard Family Tree on Ancestry has an incorrect mother shown for Knute.

Harvey Charles Myhre was born on February 24, 1925, to John and Emma (Opdahl) Myhre on the family farm in Nordland Township. He attended District 77 Country School and graduated from Minneota High School. On August 23, 1958, he was united in marriage to Wanda Risting and to this union were born nine children. Wanda died in 1986. Later, Harvey began spending time with Lois Widmark. The couple enjoyed dancing, travelling and spending time together. Harvey’s primary passion was the farm. He was very self-sufficient and creative. He typically made his own tools and fixed all of his own equipment. Harvey was very staunch in his beliefs. He enjoyed taxidermy and Sudoku among other hobbies. When he was in his late 80s, he moved to the Madison Ave apartments and later to the Minneota Manor. Harvey died on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the Minneota Manor. He is survived by his children Harvey Jr. of Porter, Richard (and Diane) of Minneota, Robert (and Lisa) of Minneota, Tom (and Traci) of Minneota, Ardis Truwe of Willmar, Donald (and Nancy Kerr) of Sioux Falls, Eric (and Paula) of Taunton, Steven (and Char) of New Hope, daughter-in-law Allison of Minneota, 23 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and very special friend Lois Widmark of Ivanhoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda, son Ronald and all of his siblings.

Alice V. Andreasen, 101, of Moorhead, MN, passed away quietly on June 30, 2012, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead.

Alice was born August 26, 1910, to Thor and Ingeborg Hoivik, in St. Paul, MN. Following graduation from Mechanic Arts High School in St. Paul, she attended The Lutheran Bible Institute in Minneapolis, MN, where she met her future husband, Jacob Andreasen. Throughout her life she appreciated poetry, occasionally submitting poems for publication. She loved to play horseshoes and Scrabble, and watch the Minnesota Twins on television. She had a deep loyalty to her extended family and loved her Norwegian heritage. As a devoted pastor's wife, she was the homemaker in several parsonages, including Westby, WI, Roseau, MN, Viroqua, WI, Hitterdal, MN, and St. Paul. As a community volunteer, she served in the library in St. Paul, with her granddaughters, and later with the mailing team at Oak Grove Lutheran School in Fargo, ND.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. Jacob Andreasen; two brothers, Tony and Duke Hoivik; and five sisters, Burnette (Andy) Andreasen, Irene (Glenn) Gustafson, Sunway (Almon) Brakke, Thelma (Gordon) Hill, and Lil (Earl) Horazdovsky.

Alice is survived by her three children, Rev. John (Carol Sue) Andreasen, Moorhead, David (Enid) Andreasen, Ada, MN, and Esther Marie Magenta, Spokane, WA; eight grandchildren, Kjerstin Andreasen, Oslo, Norway, Christopher Andreasen, Fargo, Karin Andreasen, Miami Beach, FL, Eric Andreasen, East Grand Forks, MN, Nathan (Alison) Andreasen, Moorhead, Micah Andreasen, Ada, Sara (Andrew) Quinn, Reno, NV, and Kari (Chaedric) Meier, Eagle River, AK; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Carter Andreasen, Moorhead.

Mr. Kenneth E. "Buddy" Odegard, 72, died Friday, May 26, 2006. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, June 29, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church in Crosby, N.D. Interment took place at Sandhills State Veteran's Cemetery in Spring Lake on Monday, June 19, 2006. Mr. Odegard, a native of Crosby, N.D., was active in athletics at Divide County High School where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He served in the United States Marine Corps in Korea. Before moving to Greenville, he resided in California, Arizona, Fayetteville, N.C., North Dakota and Nevada. He and his brother, Dick, were longtime roommates and business partners in magazine sales. Mr. Odegard was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth A. Odegard, and a brother, Richard B. Odegard. Surviving are his daughter, Lynnell Odegard of Greenville; son, Ken Odegard II of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Amanda and Ken III, both of Fayetteville; mother, Norma R. Odegard of Crosby, N.D.; brother, Dirk Odegard and wife, Kim, of Fairfield, Calif.; and sisters, Avis Breding of Bismarck, N.D., Donna Lund and husband, John, of Silver City, N.M., Sharyn Edwards and husband, Jim, of Issaquah, Wash., Pam Simmons and husband, Mike, of Ecru, Miss., and Paula Lindsey and husband, Neil, of Crosby, N.D.
