Obit information from Find A Grave and Dennis C. Olson:
Gilbert Haugen, the son of Gilbert G. Haugen (from death certificate) and Anna Thasa Haugen, was born in Norway, May 21, 1849 (from death certificate) and came at a very young age with his parents to America. He married Ingeborg Isabel Estrem at Decorah, Iowa, on December 30, 1878. The names appearing on the church records for that marriage were Gilbert Nelson and Isabel Anderson.
Shortly after their marriage they moved to Boone County, Nebraska, where seven of their nine children were born. One baby died and was buried on the prairie and also a son Gustav Martinus died. During the time they lived in Nebraska they used the name Nilsen or Nelson.
It is not known exactly when the family moved to Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, area but they were living there at least from 1893 to the middle of 1895. Their youngest son Knute was born while they made their home there.
After his death Ingeborg stayed on the farm and made her home with her son Talmer.
Sometime during the late 1890's the family moved to Minnesota and in 1898 settled in Webster township of Rice County, Minnesota. It was apparently during this time that they began to use the Haugen name.
Gilbert died November 19, 1915 in Webster township, Rice County, Minnesota from heart problems.
He leaves to mourn his death six children, namely, Talmar Haugen at home, Gust Haugen on a neighboring farm, Knute Haugen, Northfield, Mrs. Paul Overby, Binford, N.D., Mrs. Albert Thorpe, Minneapolis. Two brothers-in-law, Christ Estrem, Petersburg, Neb., Andrew Estrem, Decorah, Iowa, and several grandchildren.

Her sister Marit Lovise Ellingboe (#6803) seems to have died on the same day as Anne Sophie Svien.
Her death and burial date are confusing in the church record. Her funeral seems to have been on the same date as her sister Marit (#6803), b. 10-24-74, d. 11-8-1896. However, the burial date for both is clearly October 11th. Marit’s death date is also shown as November 8th. However, the burial date for both is clearly October 11th. 67. | Almira (Myra) Leonora TASA (23.John4, 6.Thomas3, 2.Kari2, 1.Jon1) was born on 1 Apr 1903 in Day County, South Dakota; died on 2 Sep 1994 in Waseca County, Minnesota; was buried in LeSueur River Cemetery, New Richland, Minnesota. Other Events and Attributes:

- Minnesota Death Certificate: 1994-MN-026386
Notes:
Her South Dakota birth certificate file number is 795970.
Mother’s name Soine according to death index.
Mary Christine's father James was the son of Helmer Sybilrud and Almira (Myra) Leonora Tasa. Myra was the daughter of John Tasa and Christine Soine. John apparently died, perhaps in South Dakota where Myra was born, and Christine later married Erick Kasa in Minnesota. Unfortunately, Christine died in 1914 of tuberculosis. Apparently at this point Myra went to live with the Kildahls who were either about to move from Northfield or had already moved to St. Paul. (Mrs. Kildahl was Bertha Soine, sister of Christine.) The 1920 census shows Myra (as "niece") living with the Kildahls in St. Paul. Myra may have been adopted by Johan and Bertha Kildahl and/or she may have taken Kildahl as her surname.
According to her death certificate, her father was John Tasa and her mother was Christine Soine. Myra had had 2 years of college and had been a schoolteacher. She died of dehydration and kidney failure complicated by dementia. The informant for her death certificate was Jane Sybilrud of Box 68, Elysian, Minnesota.

On Oct. 11, 2021, Beverly Ann Wetzel, 91, died peacefully at Saint Patrick's Hospital in Missoula , MT with her loved ones by her side.
She was born on August 28,1930 in Circle, MT to Anfin Estrem and Beatha (Odness) Estrem. They later moved to Park Grove, MT and Bev loved her childhood there even though (as she put it) they were poor as church mice. It was a memorable time of her life, growing up with her siblings, full of mischief, laughter and life.
She was the youngest of seven children, Warren who died at birth, Myrtle, Florence,Harland, Richard and Howard (who died at the age of three). Her family moved to Glasgow when she was in Junior High and that is where she called home for the remainder of her life. She loved everything about Glasgow.
Bev graduated from Glasgow High School in 1948 and was the first in her family to accomplish that achievement. On August 16, 1948, Bev married Dale E. Farrington and together they had three beautiful children, Florann, Colleen and Dean, respectively. Her greatest joy in life was raising her children and being a homemaker. Bev and Dale later divorced.
In Jan. of 1975, Bev married Donald Gallagher and they enjoyed many years together until his passing in 1999. Through this marriage she had the privilege of being in Don's children's lives and the two families cherished the time they were able to all spend together. At Christmas time, Grandma Bev and Grandpa Don would host Christmas dinner and their home would be full of their children, grandchildren and eventually great grandchildren, creating some of the best memories they will all carry with them through their lives.
Bev was an excellent cook and could create a feast of a turkey big enough to feed us all along with many fabulous side dishes, plus all of her children and grandchildren's favorite sweets. After the passing of her husband Don, she was blessed by another love in life, Roy Wetzel. They married on August 20, 2004, bringing another family together with hers. They enjoyed spending the summers at The Pines in Fort Peck and visiting their children and their families.
Bev was an active member of the First Lutheran Church in Glasgow for many years. She loved playing bridge and visiting with her friends. She thought about them often, right up to her last day. Bev was good at most things she did. Along with being an excellent cook and baker, she loved to craft with beads, sewing and crochet. She painted ceramics that still adorn many loved ones homes. She made those she loved many things that were beautiful and will be cherished for years to come.
Our mom, Grandma, Grandma Great and Great Great Grandma will be missed more than she could have ever imagined. She was a hero to many of us and her forgiving, loving and understanding nature will be something we will never take for granted. She was generous and kind, loved beyond words and provided us an example of how people should be. Her sense of humor will live on in all of us and because of that our family get togethers will be full of laughter.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings, her husband Don, Husband Roy, step-son Gary "Butch" Gallagher, Grandson Jace Campbell and Dustin Bietz (spouse of granddaughter Samantha).
Survivors include daughters Florann, Glasgow, MT, Colleen (Ronnie), Florence, MT and son Dean (Maria) in Alamogordo, NM. Grandchildren Deniel (Ryan) Laurel, MT, Ashley (Patrick), Lana (Nik) both of Missoula, MT, Samantha (Nick) in Glasgow, MT, Dominic in Alamogordo, NM and Anthony (Caitlin) in Newport News, VA. Great Grandchildren Christian (Jessica), Keagan, Kaspen, Braden, Ethan, Hanna, Aubree, Vivienne, Tayven, Oakleigh, Avalee, Kai, Emmalyn, Axton, and Hayden Dean. Bev was also a Great-Great Grandma to Adaline and Ezri. She was very proud of this accomplishment. Bev is also survived by her step-children and their families, and four nieces.

She graduated from Kenyon High School in 1939. She was united in marriage to Olaf Huseth on Sept. 26, 1942. Together they raised three children on the family farm.
Grace was an inherently gifted artist and musician. She instilled her love of the arts in her children and her companions. Painting was her passion. She was inspired by the beauty in nature and painted many landscapes and still lifes. She loved to play the organ and the piano, and she continued to do so even into her 90s. Her music filled the rooms and hearts of many. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She prepared five meals a day every day of the year. She baked fresh bread every week, washed laundry with a wringer washer, and hung clothes on the line. And when the day's work was completed, she picked up her paint brushes and made time to tap the artist within. Grace loved to share her early memories with her family: what life was like when she was a young girl in the 1920s and '30s, walking to District 128 Schoolhouse, having family picnics in the woods with sketchpad in hand. She was able to pass along those memories up to the very end of her life so that the stories could be preserved for the next generations.
