The Stump Family Tree has her dying in Thorp, Kittitas County, on 6 May 1982 as the wife of Lynn Gordon. She married Lynn Gordon as Zella Lee, age 65, of Issaquah, Washington, having been born in Oaksdale, Washington.

The Stump Family Tree shows Floyd and Zella having a third child, a son. That son would have to have been born after the 1940 census.
