Beverly Jean Flynn, 96, passed away peacefully at her son's home in Kent on September 27, 2023.

She was born December 11, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN, a daughter of the late Eldo and Margaret (Thompson) Murray. She worked as a bus driver for Poland City Schools for over 25 years until her retirement.

Beverly was Past Worthy High Priestess of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, a charter member of the Poland United Methodist Church for 70+ years, and a proud and passionate supporter of Poland athletics.

In her spare time, she loved to play cards, even learning a new game a week before she passed. Her love of sports, especially basketball, was unmatched.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Flynn, whom she married June 18, 1949, and who passed away February 18, 2007; her son, Dennis Flynn; and her sister, Ardis Vevle.

Ardis Vevle (nee Murray), age 88, of Otsego, MN, formerly of Brooklyn Center, MN passed away February 9, 2021. Ardis is preceded in death by husband, Robert, and parents Eldo and Margaret Murray.

Survived by loving son, Randy (Becky) and grandchildren Rylee and Ryan of Elk River; sister, Beverly Flynn, of Poland, OH, many family and friends, and beloved dog, Angel.

Ardie will be remembered as always fun, full of life, and the Pink Lady.
