  Notes	Nels and his two sons are living with his parents and brothers in the 1895 state census in June. His wife must have died because there is no woman other than Sigri in the household. Nels and his two sons are still living with his parents in the 1900 census but he is shown as a widower. In the 1905 state census, Nils and his two sons are still on the Nelson farm in New Market with brothers Andrew and Ole and Ole’s new wife. In the 1910 census, Nels and his son Henry are living with his brother Ole and family on the Nelson farm. Nels’s brother Andrew and son Ole are not listed. His death certificate, for which Ole J Nelson of Lakeville was the informant, describes him as a widower farmer. His father was Ole O Nelson. He died from influenza, complicated by “chronic Bright’s disease.”
