In the 1918 Minneapolis city directory, she is Mrs. Clara A Ellingboe, nurse, residing at 1515 E Lake Street, flat 4. In the 1924 Minneapolis city directory, she is Mrs. Clara A Ellingboe, operator, residing at 909 West Franklin, apartment 33. In the 1927 Minneapolis city directory, she is Mrs. Clara A Ellingboe, a finisher for Loring Fur Co. She lived at 207 West 15th. In the 1930 census, she and her three children (Brunelle, 25, Harvey, 23, and Crystal, 21) are living in Chicago with Clara’s second husband, Gus Peterson. Although listed with the last name Ellingboe, Brunelle is nevertheless shown as married and having been so for three years. In the 1950 census, she and Gus live in Minneapolis at an apartment at 2807 Riverside Avenue. Living with them is her divorced daughter Brunelle Ellingboe, 45. Gus works as a laborer in concrete construction. Brunell works as a bookkeeper for a frock factory. Her obit said that she lived at 2104 19th Avenue NE and was survived by Brunelle Ellingboe and Chrystal Schmitt. She had 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
