Notes |
- Living with his parents and siblings on a farm in Rose Hill Twp, Cottonwood County, Minnesota in the 1900 census. In that census, both of Albert’s parents claimed to have been born in Germany.
In the 1910 census, Albert and his family live in Murray Twp, Murray County, Minnesota. Living with the young couple and their son is Martha Rachuy, 13, “sister-in-law.” Martha was born in Nebraska.
He registered for the draft in Slayton, Minnesota, on 12 September 1918. At that time he was a farmer in Currie. He was described as of medium height and build with blue eyes and dark brown hair.
In the 1920 census, Albert and his family are still farming in Murray Twp. Now, however, he and Anna designate their parents’ birthplaces as Luxemburg although their native language is German.
At the time of his death, his address was RFD Currie. He died from stomach cancer. Gus Bloch, presumably his brother, was the informant for his death certificate.
