She was born in Wisconsin, baptized and confirmed Lutheran. She was born January 19, 1931, in Vernon County to Odin and Clara (Nundahl) Olson. She has made her home in Birmingham since 1970. She married her husband, Conrad (Connie) Ewers August 6, 1949 in Soldiers Grove, Wisc. Survivors include her husband, two sons, Gary and Ginger Ewers of Pell City; Lonnie and Michele Ewers of Springville; three daughters, Mrs. Victor Holmes (Victoria) of Moody, Mrs. Harold Fant (Valeria) of Mobile and Mrs. Glenn Poole (Debra) of Ohatchee. She has 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Orland and Evan of Westby, Wisc., Robert of Pardeville, Wisc., and Clifford of Rockford, Ill. She also has three sisters, Benetta Nelson of Soldiers Grove, Mildred Tollefson of Pardeville, Wisc., and Agnes Buroker of Janesville, Wisc. She was preceded in death by one grandson, one great grandson, her mother, father, two sisters, and one brother. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 25, at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Hwy 11. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Jefferson Memorial Trussville Chapel directing.
