  Notes	Information on William’s and Anna Sophia’s family from Tom’s “The Pautzke Family History.” William (#8173) is the brother of Charles Luff (#8168) if Charles was called Carl in the 1880 census of the family of Jacob and Eva Luff in New Richland, Minnesota. In the 1900 census, William and Anna and their five children lived in the village of Summit in Roberts County, South Dakota. William was a carpenter. In the 1910 census, William and Anna and their six children lived in the city of Ellensburg, Washington. He was a carpenter. Although his obituary cites influenza as the principal cause of death, his death certificate cites pulmonary tuberculosis as the only cause of death.
