In the 1900 census, William and Anna and their five children lived in the village of Summit in Roberts County, South Dakota. William was a carpenter.
In the 1910 census, William and Anna and their six children lived in the city of Ellensburg, Washington. He was a carpenter.
Although his obituary cites influenza as the principal cause of death, his death certificate cites pulmonary tuberculosis as the only cause of death.
