At the time of her brother Luthard’s death in 1948, she was superintendent of nurses at Deaconess Hospital.
According to the Bergh-Anderson files, Inger was the first director of the nursing school at Deaconess Hospital. She remained director for 40 years and retired in the early 1950s.
