He is a foreman for SPCo (Southern Pacific Railroad). Living with them is Pauline M Kubler, a clerk for USNB. In the 1940 census, their house at 2332 SE 52nd Avenue is rented. His son Bill J is listed but is absent. Howard and Pauline are at home. Also living with them is Byron Gates, Fredricks’s father-in-law.
