In the 1940 census, he was Edward E Larson, 23, single, living in Portland at 1724 S E 52nd Avenue with his grandmother Louise Dietl and his aunt Mary Dietl. That is the same house at which they all lived in 1935. Edward is a cashier for a parcel delivery company. He was a high school graduate. Because his gravestone is similar to that of Mary Dietl, we can reasonably infer that he is the Edward E Larson, 1916-1967, buried in Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland, Oregon.
