She was a native of Northfield. Mrs. Ellingboe was born July 6, 1901, the daughter of Estelle and Fred Hamblin. She had lived in California for many years. Her husband, Joel Ellingboe, died on April 28 of this year. She was taken seriously ill just a couple of days after his death. She was also preceded in death by her only son, Roger, in 1978. Surviving her is a sister, Merle Henning of DeLand, Fla.; a brother, Denny Hamblin who now lives at Faribault; two grandsons, Steven of Renton, Wash., and Richard of Cupertino; eight great-grandchildren.
