  Notes	Married as Ambjor Thondsdatter Ellingbö according to the church records. Or Anna I. She was a 30 year-old single schoolteacher, living at home with her parents, in the 1900 census. Her birth date is shown as April 24 in her death certificate. Her obituary was in the 10 September 1958 edition of the Faribault Daily News: “DENNISON (Special) -- Mrs. Emma I. Ellingboe, 88, died at the home of her son, Arthur T. Ellingboe, on Sunday, September 7. She had been in poor health for some time. She was the daughter of Trond and Marit Austinson, born, April 14, 1870, in Dennison, where she had spent the greater part of her life. She attended the public schools and had teacher training in Minnesota. She was married to Thrond I. Ellingboe on June 24, 1900. Ellingboe passed away several years ago. She served on the local school boards and the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Jehova's Witness faith. Surviving Mrs. Ellingboe are Iver T. Ellingboe, Pueblo, Colorado; Mrs. George Chandler, Vancouver, B. C. Canada; Arthur Ellingboe, Dennison; Mrs. Calvin F. Schmid, Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Louis Heggedhal, Kenyon. There are eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She leaves on sister, Miss Minnie J. Austinson, Dennison and one brother, Nils Austinson, North Sacramento, California. The funeral was held at the Anderson Mortuary in Northfield with Quentin H. Newland of Lakeville, officiating. Burial was in the Oaklawn cemetery at Northfield. Pallbearers were Myron Heggedahl, Bernard Ellingboe, Ludvig Austinson, John Schumm, Gudmund Norswing and Edward Ellingboe. Mr. and Mrs. Iver T. Ellingboe, Pueblo, Mrs. George Chandler, Vancouver and Mrs. C. F. Schmid, Seattle, were here for the funeral.” Mrs. Louis Heggedahl was Amanda Emmeline Ellingboe, the daughter of Emma’s husband and his first wife.
