She was Norwegian, her passage was paid by her sister, and she was traveling to see her uncle, Erick Flaten, of Cyrus in Pope County, Minnesota. In the 1910 census, she was shown to be born in Minnesota. In the 1920 census, she was born in Norway and had come to the U.S. in 1896. Same in 1930.
