  Notes	Mel Johnson passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Eckville on November 20, 2004 at the age of 64 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; three sons, Perry, Derek and Brett; three daughters, Melinda (Ryan) Carver, Mary (Ed) Symchyck and Theresa (Chris) Marshall; eight grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jacob, Owen, Joseph, Shawn, Amber, Alfred and Britney. He is also survived by Sandra Sutter (his “almost” daughter) and his best friend Rudi. Mel was predeceased by his son Scott and parents Carl and Mary Johnson. Special thanks to Shannon Gibbs. In living memory of Mel Johnson, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park
