Genealogy and History were his hobby and passion. He lived most of the past 20 years in Nanaimo and was survived by his wife and three children. His parents were Len and Fern. He had one grandson and a granddaughter. Both sets of grandparents homesteaded in Naicam and Kermeria Area.
