His birthdate is shown as June 13, 1880, but that is obviously wrong because his age is also shown as 30. He was born in Iola, Wisconsin. He is described as tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and brown hair. In the 1920 census, Arthur lives in Los Angeles with his wife Charlotte. He has no occupation. In the 1930 census, he was Arthur J. Williams, 42, living with his wife, Charlotte, 46, in San Antonio Township of Los Angeles County, California. He was a printer working in a print shop. He and Charlotte had been married for 14 years. Charlotte and her parents were born in Ohio. No Social Security number entered in the California death index.
