  Notes	Both of her parents were born in Norway. In the 1900 census she was born in Michigan, in the 1910 census she was born in Wisconsin. It’s back to Michigan in the 1920 census. In the 1900 census she had had 5 children, 4 still living. In the 1910 census, those numbers were 10 and 9. Her obituary was published on p. 15:3 of the April 17, 1963, edition of the Duluth News-Tribune. She was 90 and was a “pioneer Forbes resident.” She was survived by seven sons and three daughters and by a brother, Art Solem, of California. Her funeral was on Thursday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Forbes.
