  Notes	In the 1925 North Dakota state census, he and his family lived in Enderlin, Ransom County, not far from E.J. and Adeline Fautch. The household consisted of J.G., 25, Julia, 26, Richard 2, and Geraldine, 1/2. At the time of Geraldine’s death, he and Julia lived at 86th and Cedar in Bloomington, a location also identified as Richfield Station. In the 1930 census, John, Julia, and Richard live off Cedar Avenue in Bloomington Twp. John is an automobile polisher. They own their house, worth $4300. According to Hennepin County tax records, their house was built in 1929. He is listed in the 1931 St. Paul city directory as a laborer for Swift & Co. He resides in Minneapolis. The 1932 St. Paul directory has him as a helper at Swift & Co. and residing in Minneapolis. In the 1939 St. Paul directory, he has risen to assistant foreman at Swift. The 1940 St. Paul directory shows him as residing in Bloomington. In the 1940 census, he and Julia and their two sons live in Bloomington. They live in the same house that they lived in five years earlier. John G is a foreman at a wholesale meat packing plant. His occupation was laborer at Swift & Co. The 1944 St. Paul city directory records him as having that occupation and residing at 112 W Warburton in S St. Paul. His residence at time of death was 2109 East 86th Street in Bloomington. He died of liver failure.
