In the 1930 census, she and her husband live at 5337 30th Avenue, across the street from her parents in south Minneapolis. Lowell was a bookkeeper for a steam railroad. They had no children. In January of 1936, she was Mrs. Marie Leffingwell of Minneapolis. She is the Marie S. Wessling who died in California in 2001.
