- In the 1942 Minneapolis city directory, he and Marj lived at 2701 Bloomington. He was a grocer.
In the 1948 and 1950 St. Paul city directories, he was a vice president for Sales Service Machine Tool Co. He and Marjorie M lived at 2078 Eleanor Avenue.
In 1956, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the First State Bank of New Brighton.
In 1961, he and Marj lived at Route 2, Rosemount.
George was a pallbearer at Bess’s funeral.
George and Marj called their farm Rolling Oaks Farm.
By the late 1960s, George and Marj had moved to a new farm called Maple Valley Farms.

Booth, George F. - Age 88 - Born April 7, 1916 Died peacefully on June 23, 2004 Of leukemia at Lakeview Commons in Maplewood. Preceded in death by parents George and Verna Booth; brother Richard; and wife Marjorie (Havier) Booth. Survived by sister Marcine Rittenhouse, Burnsville; daughters Judy (Gary) Spooner, Cottage Grove; and Connie (Roger) Spooner, Champlin; and son George (Pat) Booth, San Jose, Calif.; grandchildren Margie (Eric) Williams, Laura Booth, Shannon Spooner, Bradley (Hollis) Spooner, Sommer (Jason) Leonard, Karen (Steve) Balcom, George Booth Jr.; Stephen, Samantha and Susan Booth; and 10 great-grandchildren. George Booth was a life-long Mason and retired as vice president of Sales Service Machine Tool Co. He won many awards in parades driving a six-pony hitch and stagecoach. He served in the United States Maritime Service in World War II in the Pacific. He was born in Minneapolis and lived in St. Paul, Rosemount, Cannon Falls, Minnesota as well as Florida, Mississippi and East Tennessee before returning to Minnesota four years ago. He is interred at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis beside wife Marjorie who died in 1978. Memorials preferred to the South Washington Senior Center, 8400 E. Point Douglas Road, Cottage Grove, MN 55016, where he enjoyed music and dancing on Thursday afternoons. Washburn-McReavy 612-781-1999.
