Notes |
- Shown as child #1 but also that one 1 sibling had been born alive but was now dead.
In the 1950 census, he seems to be the Charles Ellingboe, age 20, “lodger”, with the Alvin Husby family in Decorah, Iowa. He has no occupation. It’s possible he was a student at Luther College.
He was an Army Sergeant in Korea.
He seems to be the Charles E. Ellingboe, Mayor, Sunburg, who placed an ad in the May 3, 1956, edition of the Minneapolis Star saying, “Prosperous community needs bank.”
The informant for his death certificate was Mr. Steven Ellingboe of 2716 N.W. 12th Avenue in Willmar.
Charles was divorced at the time of his death. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He had a high school diploma plus one year of college. He died from colon cancer.
